Many years ago, before they started charging subs, this was an excellent source for many good quality free guitar tabs. Being informed that it's a legitimate charge because of the "TOS" (terms of service), as if this is a law of the universe and in anyway justifies this immoral and antagonistic way of doing business, is an insult to ones intelligence and a clear indicator of the type of business one is dealing with. I imagine most users after 12 months of membership will have realised that the service is poor value when other facilites are found which are free or significantly cheaper. I presume this is a default option and as such the company should at least give notice that auto-renew is imminent.

I’ve reviewed my account and I can find no record of activating auto-renew. Not a nice company to deal with and I’ve since found better and cheaper options. I queried this, they told me they had to charge me £9.99 (1 months charge) for the two minutes it took me to cancel after the email. I clicked the link to cancel and they only refunded £15. I received an email from them saying ‘thank you we’ve renewed your membership’ and charged me £24.99. Put the music back that was there before, before your employees wiped everything valuable to your customers! What are you thinking in making these detrimental changes? I want a refund for the rest of my membership, please and thank you. So, UG are the record companies riding you for royalties? So now you're sticking your customers with a sub par listen experience! Whatever your reasonings are is not for your customer base. Unless somehow by a miracle they keep everything the same before the listen button went defunct. Even when it's back up, it's going to be the same issue of what they're replacing it with. And for that month starting in September or earlier of 2023 about, the listen button didn't work on IOS or Android, I didn't get what I paid for! The listen button still doesn't work on Android. I look at the whole package and it's not worth it anymore. And not the main benefit for me, even if I occasionally benefit from it.

It may have official pro guitar tabs for the paid member, but it's not the majority of what I use on the app. That was the whole point and benefit of using UG for me. Horrible! And then having to time the start of playing a song with YouTube, to the auto scroll is horrendous. Thanks for making the experience worse!!!! If I want to practice the actual studio recording, it's way harder now, as now I have to play music from YouTube on another device while learning on UG on another. What a joke! I'm not happy with this ridiculous underhanded change Guitar tabs made! It's seriously not worth it anymore, being a paid member. I saw the same tutorial for completely different songs. Actually, the video put on some songs for listen button, is completely the wrong "tutorial song". It's now either some person's tutorial or a live acoustic version of the song, or a partial tutorial, not the actual song. What I actually depended on, are GONE, the original studio recordings. The listen button is working again only on IOS only for certain songs, but now what's in its place are guitar tutorials albeit questionable. I practice to the actual album recordings. The listen button was down for a long time, like a month or something. I am a pro member and have been for two or three years now.
